For more information contact Eddie Collins Attention: Knights for Life: As you may already know, our Assembly 3044 will be leading the Holy Rosary on Good Friday in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Aurora. I have coordinated this with Eric Sheidler and the Pro life action league. They will be leading the Stations of the cross. We will follow right after with the Rosary. I have informed the Diocese Pro Life office. They have published our event in their weekly news events email. I have also informed Relevant Radio. We are expecting a crowd of at least 400-500. That is how many showed up last year. I am working on getting a battery powered portable microphone to make it easier for the crowd to hear our Rosary. Kathy Durow has offered to lend me a system. She is the coordinator of the Adoration chapel at Sts. Peter and Paul. I will be evaluating the audio system very soon. Right now I am in need of at least 5 brave Knights that would be willing to recite one of the 5 decades of the Holy Rosary. If we get more volunteers than the 5 needed, we can work in 5 teams to be heard very clearly. All that is needed is to recite the Our Father and 10 Hail Marys in public. Please send me an email or phone if you would like to participate. I will assign the decades to you by email. All you have to do is show up. It would be great to have one Knight from each council. This will be an awesome event! |
